The Food Truck Age trundles into the next epoch in Brooklyn this Saturday when six trucks will advance on Grand Army Plaza, across from the green market. Locals are accustomed to the trucks during their regular Sunday tenure at the Food Truck Rally, but now they'll be able to munch some Mexican food while they shop for seasonal produce. Just when you thought a Saturday in Park Slope couldn't possibly get any more darling...

If you find yourself in Park Slope on Saturday you'll see Green Pirate (fresh juices), Kimchi Taco Track, Mexicue, Morris Truck (grilled cheese), Phil's Steaks and Rickshaw Dumplings. And FYI: the trucks are paying rent to temporarily set up shop—the money supports the "operations and beautification of Prospect Park"—hopefully giving local restaurants less cause for complaint.
