Ever wish you could turn your tongue into a lasso and flick it through the screen when a delicious food item flashes in front of your eyes? Stop wishing and make it a reality at the 6th annual NYC Food Film Festival, which serves up the on-screen delicacies IRL to the audience. Six food porn events go down over October 17th through 21st—each flick focuses on a particular food item, with samples of said items to nosh as you watch. It's sort of like Smell-O-Vision for your mouth-hole!

Highlights for this season include the Food Porn Party, where you can seductively nibble on Top Pot Doughtnuts, pig tails from Brooklyn Star and more, while you take in nine films about doughnuts, bacon and tofurky among other food stuffs. The Lowcountry Oyster Roast will feature an all-you-can-eat Bulls Bay oyster roast, with 20,000 of the little buggers to slurp to your heart's content while you watch just how fishermen harvest them in South Carolina in The Mud and the Blood.

Finally, if you love ramen as much as we do, don't miss the opportunity to sample ramen from legendary chef Keizo Shimamoto, who will be serving his creation Stateside for the first time ever at the I (Heart) Japan event. Films exploring Japanese cuisine—sushi, chicken wings and, of course, ramen—means the same is served up to guests. Still not convinced? Just try watching the trailer for Ramen Dreams and not immediately need to run out for some delicious, brothy noodles.

Tickets range in price from $50 to $500, depending on just how pornographic you want to make your experience, and are available online. As with previous incarnations, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the very worthy Food Bank for New York City.
