2004_07_food_hotdogporn1.JPGWe recently encountered this sign while walking down 8th Street in the West Village. Titillating, no? We had been seduced by Gray's Papaya, yet again. If you haven't stopped in for one of their juicy, delicious, and dirt cheap hot dogs, you should, and at the very least, you should walk by, if only to check out their signs. They've often got a political bent, and are changed based on news, events, and NYC happenings. 2004_07_food_hotdogporn2.jpgEven Babbo co-owner Joe Bastianich is a regular: "he eats here twice a week at least. 'It’s cheap, and even if it cost three times more, I would still frequent it.'"

And how could you resist this smiling face? (Okay, we're getting a little creeped out by all the smiling food . . . what's up with that, huh?)
