Metropolis, the subterranean oyster bar underneath Union Square's Blue Water Grill, debuts Speakeasy Thursday Nights featuring live jazz music. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the restaurant hosts a rotating cast of performers in the unique space who'll soundtrack an evening of oyster slurping and martini sipping. The restaurant specializes in seafood, like flavored oysters and shellfish platters, but also offers dishes like cheesesteaks and roasted chicken.

On Tuesday, the group takes us on A Passage To South India with a tour of the temple followed by a completely vegetarian meal in the Temple Canteen.
