Onegin (named after Alexander Pushkin novel Eugene Onegin), opened earlier this month in the former Pizzeria Uno space in the West Village. The owners have transformed the old deep dish pizza chain into a swank haute-rustic haven, with wheelbarrow coffee tables, sylvan paneling, and passages from Pushkin on the walls. Take a look around.

The bar serves a variety of infused vodkas, and carafes are brought almost automatically at every table. Onegin boasts a classic Russian wood-burning furnace, where items like quail and Chicken Kiev are given traditional preparation. On the weekends, they're currently offering an all-you-can-drink brunch, with Mimosas or Bloody Marys with infused vodka.
