With the L train still not quite servicing Williamsburg the areas many restaurants can use your help. And so can many people left stranded by Hurricane Sandy. Put the two together and you've got Dine Out Williamsburg For Sandy Relief, a swell event going down in dozens of restaurants around the 'burg.
The deal works like this: You go out and eat or drink at one of the many restaurants and bars that are participating and they'll give a portion of their gross sales to the Red Cross. The list of players is a long one with everyone from Anella to Brooklyn Winery to Dressler to Forcella to Isa to Marlow & Sons to Mesa Coyoacan to Nitehawk Cinemas to Pies 'n' Thighs to Reynards to St Anselm to Walter Foods giving. And that's just a few of them—so embrace the Sandy Seven and go eat.
