Two year old Windsor Terrace dumpling shop East Wind Snack Shop found a new home in SoHo at Broadway Market, an indoor flea market-type operation with a mini food component. East Wind owner Chris Cheung became one of three food vendors to sell in the market, which will also be expanding its food component soon with another market. Cheung will offer three signature "snacks" plus bubble tea from a cute little window decorated with ivy.

"I'm very happy to bring my dumplings to Manhattan. They say my shop in Brooklyn is sort of a hidden gem, and I think we found the same vibe in the Broadway Market," Cheung told Gothamist. "It's a small stall but we still prepare all our dumplings by hand everyday from scratch and cook them to order."

Three different types of dumplings will be on offer. Juicy Pork Dumplings ($6.50), which are pan fried; Dry Aged Beef Potstickers ($8), made with 28-day dry aged beef in a homemade dumpling wrapper; and Shanghai Vegetable Dumplings ($6.50). Boxes of Pocky—the straw-shaped biscuits coated in sweet frosting—jasmine rice ($2) and some bubble tea ($5) round out the edible offerings.

East Wind Snack Shop is located inside the Broadway Market at 483 Broadway in SoHo; eastwindsnackshop.com. The market is closed on Tuesdays and East Wind will be cash only until 7/14.
