Gothamist is faced with a 7:30AM meeting at work today. (No, the client is not in Europe; we did that before in 1999, but with 7AM daily meetings for three months.) Not just showing up for work, it's an actual meeting. This must be a certain former asssitant's life!
To rally the spirits, we offered to buy bagels, though the the carbs might make us sleepy. Another co-worker offered to bring various elixirs from Starbucks. Ah, Gothamist is paying it forward.
