As he previously promised, Dominique Ansel has now unveiled a pastry case full of New York City-themed treats. The line of pastries (called The New York Collection) was launched on July 4th and was created in celebration of Ansel's personal 15 year New York anniversary.

"It’s been 15 years since I first moved here from France, not knowing anyone and taking a big leap of faith in hopes of following my dreams," he wrote on Instagram, adding, "This is for you, New York, and everyone who has walked through our doors since we first opened up our little shop here in Spring Street nearly 8 years ago." You won't find any Cronuts here in the New York Collection, instead, you'll find 9 new pastries, all inspired by NYC and two of which are eclairs (which further highlights a missed opportunity to create a fancy Nuts4Nuts pastry).

There's a Bodega Coffee Tiramisu, an Everything Bagel & Schmear Pavlova, a Central Park-inspired chocolate hazelnut acorn, two eclairs (one with Ansel's Spring Street location and one with a taxi), A Bite of the Big Apple ("apple tart made with homemade apple compote, fresh Gala apple, and vanilla bavaroise, set atop vanilla sablé with a hint of sharp cheddar"), a Haute Dog ("raspberry cremeux set on ladyfingers infused with coconut, topped with passion fruit curd 'mustard' and shredded coconut 'kraut'"), a Pretzel ("pretzel bavaroise, gooey soft caramel, and crispy peanut butter feuilletine"), and a New York Slice ("a strawberry tart, with a fromage blanc mousse, strawberry basil jam, Kirsch-soaked almond biscuit, and fresh sliced strawberries, on a vanilla sablé crust").

The New York Collection will all be available through Labor Day. Prices range from $7.50+.

Dominique Ansel is located at 189 Spring Street in Manhattan.
