A wise woman once said, "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well." Another even wiser woman once said, "Never eat more than you can lift." Don't let these ladies down! Here's where to eat this week:

On Tuesday, steak chain Strip House will be hosting a Duckhorn wine dinner at its Midtown location. The $150-a-head meal includes four courses paired with a selection of wines from Duckhorn Vineyards in Napa, with dishes including a lamb T-bone and a 40-day dry aged NY Strip. The dinner kicks off at 7 p.m., and you can book a reservation online.

Head to one of chocolatier La Maison du Chocolat's three boutique locations (in FiDi, on the Upper East Side and in Midtown) on Wednesday for a complimentary tasting of their iced frappe collection, as introduction to their new frappe line this summer. The free drinks—which include chocolate and fruit flavors—will be handed out between noon and 6 p.m., so swing by on your lunch break to make sure you can get the goods.

And on Thursday, the Brooklyn Night Bazaar in Greenpoint will be hosting Chouffefest, a celebration of Belgian craft beers that is gnome-themed, in honor of La Chouffe beer. Yes, gnome-themed. Expect giant Jenga and Connect Four sets, a gnome-sized entranceway and an eight-foot tall gnome throne photo booth, a gnome-i-fying caricature artist and...whatever, there's free food and beer. The event costs $10, and runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.; you can purchase your ticket online.
