Denny's has launched a new "Tour of America" menu which features a nod to the city's most buzzworthy neighborhood: Brooklyn. Their Brooklyn Spaghetti & Meatballs dish features "three seasoned meatballs atop a bed of pasta covered in rich, meaty tomato sauce. Served with a side of Parmesan cheese and garlic toast." Weighing in at 1,220 calories, it's the most caloric item on the new menu, racking up even more than the Midwestern Meat & Potatoes Sandwich (though Bloomberg might be happy to know it has one of the lower sugar counts). Denny's declares it, "So New York, so Italian." But is it so Brooklyn? There's not even any artisanal mayonnaise in this dish.
