Does Danny Meyer sleep? Between opening a new Shake Shack every other week while simultaneously collaborating with the Cronut king, it's a wonder the man can stay upright let alone open yet another restaurant, which is what his Union Square Hospitality Group announced this morning. The possible vampire busy restaurateur is slated to operate the new restaurant inside King & Grove New York, the Manhattan version of the trendy Williamsburg hotel that houses Paul Liebrandt's new restaurant The Elm.

Meyer tapped Maialino Executive Chef Nick Anderer to helm the new food and beverage program, which includes a ground floor restaurant—serving Italian cuisine from breakfast through late night—as well as the hotel bar and other food options. Terry Coughlin, partner and Director of Operations at Maialino, joins Anderer as front of house manager; the duo will also continue to operate Maialino inside the Gramercy Park Hotel.
