Last night Dominique Ansel put Cinnabon out of business after posting this slo-mo video on Instagram, announcing the debut of his magical Cinnamon Spun Roll.

Dear god, it is beautiful.

The roll will only be available at his Kitchen in the West Village (137 7th Ave S), and features one single "long strip of dough rolled together like a spool of yarn," soaked in a spiced custard, baked twice, and topped with Apple Jack frosting. Also: butter.

This thing is only available through December 31st, and you can pre-order it online since it will probably sell out fast every day, Cronut-style. Currently the earliest pick-up time is this Friday.
