Lit Lounge's basement is everybody's favorite East Village spot to rub up against a stranger in the dark, and this week you can do it with a classy drink in hand. Damon Boelte and Aaron Polsky (of Prime Meats and Amor y Amargo, respectively) have combined their mixology superpowers as the duo Cripple Creek, and they're serving up cocktails at a Lit pop-up bar this Sunday and Monday.
A $40 wristband (purchase here) is not required for entry to the pop-up party, but it will grant you tastings of eight or nine specialty cocktails from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., plus you can expect music, dancing and special guests. And if that drink flight doesn't do it for you, there will also be a craft beer and shot special for $10, so you can relive your undergrad glory days by throwing up Pommes Frites on a Second Ave corner. Cheers!
