Well this is down right clever. Creator Scot Amron has invented a new kind of fruit label that not only dissolves when it gets wet, it dissolves into an organic "fruit soap" that will clean your apple before you eat it out of hand. Pretty sweet, right?

The labels (which are not yet available from what we can tell) can be peeled of normally if that's your thing, are actually water resistant ("Washing / rubbing with water triggers the turn") and can still display all the usual things fruit labels have (PLU codes, company logos). And if you like the idea you'll be interested to know that Amron Exptl. (which also makes things like the money money clip and the off light switch hanger hook), is looking to sell a 10 percent stake in the fruit label's patents.
