We always thought Cookie Monster was a chocolate chip kind of guy, but it turns out he's a purist at heart. Unearthed from Big Bird's Busy Book, circa the 1970s, here is Cookie Monster's famous cookie dough recipe, which is for a sugar cookie. You'll definitely need a Container of Milk and a Stick of Butter (the former for dipping). Cookie introduces his recipe with this little note: "Me Cookie Monster and my favorite thing is eating cookies. In this wonderful set of books me going to show you how to make all kinds of cookies! But first... me tell you secret recipe for Cookie Dough (it's been in my family for years.)"
