Hootie Hoo! And another former Top Chef contestant is opening a restaurant in New York City. But not for long (and that's by design). Carla Hall, everyone's favorite former model turned cheftestant turned The Chew co-host, is doing a pop-up restaurant right here in New York City. This month.

On Wednesday, July 18th, and Thursday, July 19th, the entertaining toque is taking to David Burke's Burke in the Box restaurant in Bloomingdale's to offer a five-course prix fixe showcasing her Nashville roots. The whole thing costs $95 per person with no additions, $120 with booze-free drinks paired by Hall herself, and $135 paired with wines and cocktails. So what's on the not-really-cheap menu?

“Hot” Chicken
with Tomato & Cuke Salad

Mac & Cheese Bundles
with Butter Sauce and Crispy Bacon

Meat + Three
Meatloaf, Collard Greens, Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Corn

Bread Basket
Cornbread, Yeast Rolls, Buttermilk Biscuits

Banana Pudding
with Pecan Shortbread and Bruleed Bananas (7/18)

Peach Cobbler
with Vanilla Ice Cream (7/19)

And if that sounds like the kind of thing you want to partake in (and you aren't bothered by those prices for what you are getting), well, e-mail Evan Darnell for more information and to make a reservation.
