Popular Fort Greene eatery Brooklyn Public House has reportedly shuttered. A tipster told us he spotted a sign reading "Thanks for a few good years," on the five-year-old joint's doors, as confirmed by the Twitterati:

@TheNabeCUNY Can you help find out what's going on with Brooklyn Public House? We'll be so sad if it's closing!

No one picked up when we called the restaurant, and there's no indication of a closure on Brooklyn Public House's website. If it is gone, though, folks around the neighborhood will certainly miss the elegant little joint's burgers, wings and hearty brew list. We'll update once we learn more about its status.
