Black Tap burgers are undeniably delicious. Sadly, they're also impossible to eat these days thanks to those ridiculously long lines of tourists waiting to Instagram their stupid milkshakes.

Enter the excellent Mimi Cheng's in the East Village, who regularly pound out and roll up some of the best dumplings in the city, and who today unveiled their new monthly special for July: the Mimi Cheng Black Tap Burger Dumpling.

This glorious mash-up takes everything that's great about Black Tap's Greg Norman burger—Waygu beef, blue cheese, arugula—stuffs it all inside Mimi Cheng's chewy handmade dough, and serves it up to you with a side of buttermilk-dill dipping sauce.

Get them fried, obviously, for that layer of caramelized crunch (and all the sides are all really good here, too).

Mimi Cheng's is located at 179 Second Avenue between 11th and 12th Streets, and is open Sundaty through Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and on Thursday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. (212-533-2007; mimichengs.com)
