Sleet, ice, darkness, and the HBO premiere of Adam Sandler's Blended don't paint a particularly promising picture for this upcoming week, even if The Mindy Project's doing a surprisingly good job with that whole Stanford storyline. Ah well, at least there's a way to eat away all the misery. Here's what's on tap:

On Tuesday, the Blue Water Grill in Union Square will team up with the Union Square Greenmarket to throw a Nino Franco Wine Dinner, complete with seafood fare and Prosecco. The five-course feast includes dishes like Sashimi Fluke and Mangalista Pork, with ingredients sourced from the aforementioned market. The dinner kicks off at 7 p.m. and costs $125-per-person; make a reservation through the restaurant.

Head to the Lower East Side's Boulton & Watt on Wednesday for the eatery's 2nd anniversary party. From 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., you can score select drink and snacks for only $2, including oysters, Stoli cocktails, pickleback shots and their cast-iron cookie dessert. No reservation necessary.

Also on Wednesday, Russian restaurant Ariana will kick off the first of of its Classical Music/Contemporary Cuisine series at its SoHo space. Starting at 7:30 p.m., you can catch a 30-minute classical piano concert followed by a five-course dinner, complete with a specialty cocktail. The evening costs $85 per person, and you can make a reservation through the restaurant.

And on Thursday, Sycamore in Flatbush is throwing its monthly star-sign party for lucky Capricorns. Goats get treated to special happy hour prices and tarot readings from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the bar's flower shop, if that's your kind of thing. No reservation necessary.
