Outdoor BBQs are a summertime staple and if you can get a pro to do the smoking, it's even better! On Saturday from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Hudson is throwing a backyard BBQ in their charming interior courtyard, where some smoking hot local talent will be cooking up some meaty treats for a hot summer day. Mile End meat master Noah Bernmamoff will be cooking up pastrami burgers; former Hill Country and Fatty 'Cue pitmaster Robbie Richter is making some xingjiang-style spicy lamb kebabs plus some other notable talent will be on hand as well. Tickets run in two tiers: $45 buys you two food samplings plus two beer pairings from Voodoo Brewery and $75 doubles both of those numbers.

If bivalves are more your jam, head over to Sycamore in Flatbush on Saturday at either 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. The flower shop-bar hybrid is throwing an Oyster Bake with some briny babies from Long Island. A big ole tray of oysters and a pint of beer from Long Island's Barrier Brewing sets you back just $25; seating in the gorgeous garden is free.

Or perhaps you're more about getting your beer on, in which case a trip to LES's Claw Daddy, where they're throwing a Craft Beer & Taste Of New Orleans party, is in order on Sunday. A $25 ticket gets you five tickets good for either beers or bites from a selection that includes Abita Beer, Left Hand Brewing Company, Ommegang Brewery and a few more. On the eating end, the bar will be cooking up Cajun Wings, Popcorn Shrimp and Catfish Po'Boys. Stop by anytime between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to eat, drink and be merry.
