We used to live in simpler, less confusing times, when St. Patrick's Day wasn't in January, Halloween wasn't in August and Christmas came when it was supposed to. Holiday creep is real, people, and now it's coming for your coffee.

While it's a stretch to call pumpkin spiced everything a holiday, it's become prevalent enough to generate significant excitement and, now, Twitter accounts. Starbucks has launched an account devoted its popular Pumpkin Spice Latte, which the chain will bring back to stores...August 25th. TOO SOON, STARBUCKS!

Even @TheRealPSL's bio mentions it's a fall drink; check your calendar then because the first day of fall isn't until September 23rd. Plus, pumpkin picking season isn't until even later, with spots like the Queens County Farm Museum not opening their patch until the first week in October. Is it too much to ask to just let summer be summer? Probably.
