Rittenhouse rye with Manischewitz garam masala curry and raisin and Sochu with fermented pineapple, lemongrass, habanero are two of the other shot-based options. Regular sipping cocktails employ pop culture-based nods like You Say He’s Just a Friend ($12) with Blackwell’s Jamaican Rum, mint white peppercorn, Salers Gentian, Yellow Chartreuse, lime, and Peche de Vigne, and cocktails named for individuals including Rob Zombie, Senor Hemingway and Donkey Kong.

The 20-seat bar's currently in soft open mode on Myrtle Avenue with plans for a grand opening Wednesday, January 25th. For now, a limited food menu includes a take on the classic cafeteria sandwich the Sloppy Joe ($14), a Hot Italian Sausage "Corndog" ($12) and Escarole Caesar Salad ($10). It's a tight space, especially if you need a seat for dining, but come the spring, the back patio opens with room for about 30 more.
