Fresh off their Eggslut insanity, new Nolita venue Chefs Club Counter debuts their next bit of Instagram bait: an OddFellows Carnival pop-up in partnership with the Williamsburg ice cream shop. Prepare to see a ton of cotton candy-topped ice cream cones crawling through your feed this summer.

The space adjacent to the original Chefs Club Counter has been festooned with cymbal-banging monkey toys, red and white striped wall paintings, and an empty gold picture frame prop for photographing the ice cream works of art.

Three primary "Main Event" ice cream creations include the aforementioned cotton candy application called "The Cotton Candy Creamsicle," ($9) in which a cone of vanilla and tangerine soft serve has been encased in a cloud of fluffy orange cotton candy. Quick Bites columnist and intrepid ice cream connoisseur Scott Lynch declares this the best of chef Sam Mason's creations, calling it a "surprise winner."

"Turns out cotton candy makes for an excellent topping!," according to Lynch.

The other two composed ice cream concoctions are "The Concession Stand" ($9), a cone of caramel popcorn soft serve injected with caramel and topped with salted caramel popcorn and chocolate pearls; and "The Pink Dip" ($9), a freeze dried raspberry, Pop Rocks and gold dust-topped cone of raspberry sherbet soft serve dipped in pink chocolate.

Cones of soft serve in the flavors mentioned above can also be ordered a la carte ($6), with $1 extra for toppings like rainbow sprinkles or a pink chocolate dip.

Thursday's opening day included stilt walkers, jugglers and general merriment, which organizers say will continue through the duration of the pop-up, which runs daily from noon til 10 p.m. for the summer.
