The Bronx Brewery's lively backyard in Port Morris hosts a three weekend music series beginning this Saturday evening. The Summer Done Right series, co-produced with Lord Finesse, includes live performances by Boogie Blind of the X-Ecutioners and local singer-songwriter Raine Torae, among others. Tickets ($30-$40) include entry and one free beer; Dinosaur Barbecue will be on site selling their famous 'cue.

Author Nancy Singleton Hachisu will be at the Brooklyn Kitchen in Williamsburg Saturday evening with Takehiro Wada of Wadaman sesame and Jun’ichi Doi of Konbu Doi to lead a demo about and tasting of products from the Japanese pantry. The trio will be making dishes including Goma Dofu (sesame tofu), Seasonal Miso Soup with Yamaki Miso, and Ginger and Soy Sauce Marinated Pork Belly Sandwich using products from Wadaman and Konbu Doi, two Osaka-based companies that specialize in sesame and seaweed, respectively. Tickets $85.

Hachisu will also be at Estela on Houston Street Friday evening cooking a collaborative dinner with chef Ignacio Mattos; the duo will serve a menu inspired by Hachisu's home in Saitama, Japan. Reservations available here or by calling 212-219-7693.

Sushi fans with somewhat deep pockets—and even deeper bellies—can head to Midtown on Sundays from now on where Zuma launches their unlimited Japanese brunch experience. Guests can visit three food stations including a sushi/raw bar, the Robata grill, and a dessert bar. Whether you choose the "Classic" option ($55 with one cocktail) or "Signature" ($75 with 2.5 hours of unlimited cocktails), diners also get miso soup and a choice of entree, which includes New York Strip Steak Don Buri With Wafu Sauce and Black Cod Marinated in Saikyo Miso with Wasabi Citrus Sauce.
