When the weather gets this bone-numbingly cold the first thing we do is chuck what ever New Year's resolutions we might still be clinging to out the window (which really shouldn't have been open anyway—it's cold out there!). The second thing we do is eat. A lot. Which is why you can expect to see us downing bowl after bowl of delicious chili on Saturday at the Chelsea Market's annual NYChiliFest. Probably best not to say hi though, we'll be saving our non-chili eating moments for beer drinking.

Yup, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Chelsea Market is going to be hosting a slew chilis from top restaurants as well as four different Sam Adams beers which you can go to town on for a mere $55 per person. Just some of the restaurants scheduled to warm you up include Beer Table, Brooklyn Star, Co., Fatty 'Cue, Fletcher's, Gramercy Tavern, Jimmy's No. 43, La Palapa, Morris Grilled Cheese, Pies n' Thighs, Talde, The Wayland and 'wichcraft—not bad! And there will be live music, too.

If you don't want the beer, all-you-can-eat chili starts at $50. But you better buy your tickets now, they will not be selling tickets at the door.
