The Gallery at Rainbow Room hosts a Rosé Bar Pop-Up select Fridays (and one Monday) in July, beginning this week. Rosé cocktails, wines, champagnes and ciders will be on offer, in addition to rosé-inspired foods like The Frisky Oyster (six raw oysters topped with Rosé Granita, Candied Grapefruit and Pink Peppercorn) and the Champagne Donut Bouquet (pictured above), topped with Rosé Sorbet, Champagne Icing and Gold Dust. The pop-up will be at the iconic venue on July 14, 21, 24 and 28; reservations can be made by phone at 212-632-5000.

Sushi on Jones, the original 30-minute omakase experience located inside the Bowery Market, celebrates its first birthday with free sushi on Saturday. Between 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. they'll be handing out pieces of free sushi from their menu, which for this weekend includes a big batch of uni.

Some are declaring spritzes as the drink of the summer, so turn your attention to what they're doing at The Bennett in Tribeca if you're interested in the trend. Bartender and co-owner Meaghan Dorman has created three large format spritz cocktails for the season, including a Strawberry Letter (Aperol, Rosé, Strawberry Shrub, Sparkling Water), an East of Oz (Sauvignon Blanc, Lime, Cucumber, Mint, Sparkling Water), and a classic Aperol Spritz. To accompany the drinks: a new burger made with grass-fed beef, chicken liver parfait, pancetta and mango chutney on a brioche bun.

8th Street Winecellar, which is on 8th Street in the Village, celebrates 10 years this Saturday with some great deals on their vinos. Stop by between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. for 2007-era prices, including $18 bottles of wine and $5 glasses of wine. They're also promising to "pop open special bottles," so oenophiles should take note.

The Bourbon, Brew and BBQ: Summer Session unfolds Saturday at Route 66 Smokehouse in the Financial District. Expect unlimited pours of over 30 types of craft beer, unlimited samples of over 15 different brown liquors (ryes, whiskies, bourbons), and "never-ending" noshes from the restaurant including "Sarah's Famous Wings" and "Pork on a Fork," whatever that means. The fun lasts from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.; tickets $75.

The summer of rosé continues at the Astor Court restaurant inside the St. Regis Hotel in Midtown. Stop by Sundays between noon and 3 p.m. for their Rosé Brunch featuring dishes that pair well with the wine. There's an extensive seafood selection including raw bar items like oysters plus Maine lobster benedict with champagne hollandaise and a Croque Monsieur.
