Tomorrow Millesime, the French seafood brasserie inside of The Carlton Hotel (née the Seville Hotel), will be offering a vintage menu featuring 1904 pricing of just $1.25 per person. Take it away Crazy Eddie: those prices are INSANE! And this is very fitting, since Millesime means "vintage" in French.

This is all the celebrate the restaurant’s new publicity stunt entrance on 29th Street and Madison. They tell us, "Over a century old, this new door was first opened in 1904 as the main guest entrance to the once Seville Hotel (where the Carlton is now)."

Thursday's lunch will be offered from 11:30 a.m. through 2 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and seating is first come first serve, just like the old days (we guess... when were reservations invented?). And here's the menu... yes, you'll get all of this for $1.25.

  • Appetizer: Oyster Rockefeller
  • Second Course: Chicken Marengo or Lamb Stew with Mint Sauce
  • Dessert: New York Sundae

Sadly, if you want to get a room to sleep it off after, you won't be getting the old timey prices:
