Hot dog purveyor Papaya King launches their food truck today at their debut spot on 52nd Street and 6th Avenue in Midtown. To celebrate their arrival in the food truck biz, they're offering some very special cheap eats deals from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Grilled hot dogs topped with sauerkraut are just $1 while a frank with all the fixins' is just $3. Toppings are actually always free on the truck—except bacon and pastrami, which are $.50 extra—but the simple dog is still a steal as an afternoon snack. Sides including nachos, tater tots, fried pickles and onion rings are $4, while an order of curly fries is $3.
The truck also revealed its launch week locations through Sunday. Midtown gest most of the love but the truck will be in Flatiron on Saturday and in SoHo on Sunday.
