With future Mayor Alec Baldwin and merry dancers Radiohead scheduled to host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 24, we're actually excited about SNL for once! We even kind of wouldn't mind seeing it in person...except that it's notoriously tough getting tickets (especially when one works on Saturdays), with the 7 a.m. lines and all. However, there's a little loophole that can possibly save us (and you) an early morning wake up.

During the month of August, you can email NBC to enter the ticket lottery for the upcoming season of SNL. You just email snltickets@nbcuni.com with all your contact information (don't request a specific date), and you'll be entered into the lottery (though nothing is guaranteed). If you are selected, you will receive two tickets to a random show date and time.

You only have 11 days left to enter—come September, your only option will be to lineup at 7 a.m. on the 49th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the tapings. And from what we've read, people often start lining up for that on Fridays, and typically there are only five to ten spots that open up for live shows. Meanwhile, tickets to a Time Machine to watch the episode where Chris Kattan's Mango has a crush on Garth Brooks' alter-ego Chris Gaines are still widely available.
