SummerScreen, which claims to be Brooklyn's "longest-running outdoor film and music series" (you gonna take that, Rooftop Films?), has just announced its slate of crowd-pleasing flicks for the 2015 season. This 10th anniversary season is being billed as a "Greatest Hits of SummerScreen... featuring the most popular movies in the history of the series." Drumroll, please:

Clueless -- July 8
Wet Hot American Summer -- July 15
Dirty Dancing -- July 22
Dazed and Confused -- July 29
Jurassic Park -- August 5
Audience Pick -- August 12

Each screening is preceded by live music curated by DIY promoter Todd P., plus a variety of food trucks and ice cold beer. And it's all free.

Though some might quibble that the location, on a concrete softball lot in McCarren Park, can be abrasive after several hours of sitting, we actually find it quite comfortable—unlike the outdoor movies in Bryant Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park, you can bring a chair. Definitely bring a chair. It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
