Let's face it: Jon and Kate Gosselin's sextuplets just aren't cute anymore—it's sort of like watching six almost-awkward-era Jonathan Lipnikis. So move over and make way for the Queens sextuplets! TLC just signed them—and their mom and dad—for an 8-episode deal. The show will be called "Sextuplets Take New York," and will premiere on September 14th.
Victor and Digna Carpio have four boys and two girls: Genesis, Joel, Justin, Jezreel, Jayden and Danelia, and they're all 22 months old. Tag on a 9-year-old son and you've got a recipe for reality television.
Reportedly Victor was only making $1800/month as a maintenance worker prior to filming—so hopefully this will bring them some money, and hopefully they won't spend it all on Ed Hardy clothing! A VP at TLC says, "We fell in love with them. All of our shows look at interesting families and interesting lives. They're struggling with taking care of a lot of small children who are all the same age and overrunning their house."
