Madonna is going on be on Will & Grace, and Hilton and I discussed how Will & Grace pretty much sucks, except for Megan Mullally, aka Karen, and Sean Hayes, aka Jack. Gay joke, straight joke, sex joke, Grace-ugly-clothes joke, lather, rinse, repeat. And we hate it when they get too emotional - keep the comedy, folks, light, fizzy, silly, bawdy - no marriage or baby crap. Okay, sometimes Jack's kid is funny, but not as funny as Karen and Jack together.
Lately, Will & Grace seems to be the Love Boat of the 2000s, with all their celebrity guest stars. Just off the top of my head: Matt Damon, Demi Moore, Gregory Hines, Natasha Lyonne, Michael Douglas, Cher, Camryn Manheim, Minnie Driver, Rosie O'Donnell, Molly Shannon, Debbie Reynolds, Blythe Danner, Harry Connick Jr., Sydney Pollack, Lesley Ann Warren (okay, the last few are recurring, but still). The guest stars are usually very funny, like Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, and I can understand why they would want to guest on the show - snappy writing and a fantastic cast.
And upcoming celebrity guest stars are Macauley Culkin and Madonna. Next gets? My guesses: Maybe Michael Jackson and Bill Clinton.
