When Else Are You Gonna See Robert Plant In An Opera House For 35 Bucks?

BAM's always enjoyable Next Wave Festival is welcoming Robert Plant this year. The legendary Led Zeppelin frontman (who is also a newly signed musician to Nonesuch Records), is coming to the venue for two nights in September—tickets are on sale now, starting at $35 (and going up to $100).

Sure, you won't get Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones (and RIP Bonham)—Plant's new backing band is called Sensational Space Shifters, btw—but can you think of a more perfect place to see the now 65-year-old "Golden God" than Howard Gilman Opera House?

Now, what can we do about getting The Starship put back together for some VIP accommodations outside the venue?
