Yesterday former president Bill Clinton was, apparently, enjoying some leisure time in DUMBO, where he dropped by Powerhouse Arena. Floor manager Jordan Nielsen sent us the above photo of herself, manager Craig Mathis, and a very slim looking Mr. Clinton. So what did he buy? We wanted to know, too—Nielsen told us:

- The People of Forever Are Not Afraid by Shani Boianjiu

Nielsen added: "He was exceedingly polite and generous, and commented that he really liked our space and selection of books we offer, and posed for pictures with a few customers and staff members. He had been in the neighborhood and spotted our store and was curious about it and just strolled in to do a little shopping. Suffice it to say, it was the shock of a lifetime for those of us here just expecting a regular Thursday!"
