It's the most beautiful time of the year, when the We the Commuters team looks back at the year in transit. Join Gothamist and WNYC reporters on Monday, December 2—yes, next Monday!—for the The Twelve Delays of Christmas, an evening of discussion and debate.

City Council Speaker Corey Johnson, who spearheaded the streets master plan and just grilled the MTA on their capital plan, will be in conversation with Gothamist's Chris Robbins. We'll also be discussing over-policing, with WNYC's Stephen Nessen convening a discussion with activists from Decolonize This Place, which organized the actions in downtown Brooklyn and East Harlem, and others. Plus, we'll take a look at the trials of being in Midtown during the holiday season (and the newly pedestrianized Rockefeller Center tourist zone) with late night comedy writer Dan Chamberlain and tour guide Lindsay Boling.

Hosted by WNYC reporter Shumita Basu, there will be trivia, music from Sterling Strings, and more! You can even share your Thanksgiving travel horror stories as you catch up with your We the Commuters friends.
