Put on a pot of strong black coffee, because a brand new trailer for David Lynch's rebooted Twin Peaks has just arrived, and it features a brief glimpse of the ever-elusive Laura Palmer.

The understated 33 second clip features a close-up of composer Angelo Badalamenti performing the show's theme on a synthesizer, superimposed over a dense thicket of trees. Could this be Ghostwood National Forest, or perhaps a new, uncharted corner of the Pacific Northwest? As the trailer fades to black, Laura Palmer's face is clearly visible. Does this mean that she'll be back when Twin Peaks begins anew on Showtime in 2017? Is she alive? Is she dead? Is Special Agent Dale Cooper somewhere out there, ironing his trenchcoat?

We also know that the cast of the new series is astonishing, with Ray Wise, Miguel Ferrer, and David Duchovny. New to the show are musicians Trent Reznor, Sky Ferreira, Eddie Vedder, Sharon Van Etten, and more. Actors Michael Cera, Naomi Watts and Amanda Seyfried all set to appear. Watch the trailer below—that 25 year wait is almost over.
