Like the hapless protagonist in every real estate broker's fever dream, Bike Kill moved from Bed-Stuy to Bushwick (—Town) for its eleventh year. But unlike most tableaus of Brooklyn transiency, this one involved jousting.
Mysteriously denied a street closure from the 79th Precinct, the Black Label Bike Club decamped to Bushwick and set up a few blocks from the Jefferson L stop. The 90th Precinct seemed to be hospitable, and the police presence was light.
