At yesterday's Yankees-Astros games, TV cameras zeroed in on actors Chris Rock and Bobby Cannavale sitting in the crowd behind the visitors dugout. And after the next pitch, the Houston Astros' Jon Singleton hit a foul ball right at them.
Rock made a half-hearted effort to catch the ball, but was handicapped by the cellphone he held in one hand:
Rock did grab the ball on the bounce, and redeemed himself giving it to a kid sitting nearby, a move worthy of Mays Gilliam. The Yankees won 3-0.
