Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update returned for a special prime time "Summer Edition" on Thursday night, and they were able to debut a new character: Anthony Scaramucci, everyone's favorite hedge fund founder-turned-White House communications director for a week and a half. And the Mooch was played by the one and only BILL HADER!

Co-host Michael Che was in the middle of talking about the raccoon who got his head stuck in a jar on Long Island when he was interrupted by a FaceTime call. "I heard you two nutless liberal ass wipes mention my name earlier and when I hear my name three times, I appear like a Goomba Beetlejuice," Hader as the Mooch proclaimed to Che and co-host Colin Jost.

He also insisted that "Everybody loves the Mooch. You know how you miss me. I'm like human cocaine. You got a little bump of me, I made you feel excited, and I was out of your system too quick. Now that I'm gone, you're all depressed and edgy and you're trying to figure out how to score some more Scaramucci!"

"We did hope you'd stick around a little bit longer," Che admitted.

"Me too, but the Mooch has no regrets, baby!" emphasized "Scaramucci." "All I did was sell my company, miss the birth of my child and ruin my entire reputation. All to be king of idiot mountain for 11 days. The Mooch is LOOSE!"

Alex Moffatt and Mikey Day also appeared on the show, as Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. Junior trying to explain the whole "nothing burger" meeting with Russians at Trump Tower, referring to the subpoena as "some peanuts":

SNL's Weekend Update: Summer Edition will air for three more Thursdays, August 17, August 24 and August 31.
