Early to bed, early to rise for the Leonid meteor shower expected to light up the sky overnight!

According to Wired, the annual meteor extravaganza will peak in the hours just before dawn between Wednesday and Thursday. Here's a list of where to view it in the NYC area (sadly, the list only includes New Jersey spots); last year people were meeting in Rockaway.

Wired notes that, "astronomers expect this year’s Leonids to produce at least 20 meteors an hour. The full moon will set several hours before dawn, so its glare won’t interfere with the show." You can calculate meteor activity in your area here.
