If the weather holds up, historic aircraft will be flying over the Statue of Liberty at 1 p.m. this afternoon.

The Air Power Museum in Farmingdale is conducting a commemorative honor flight with six planes: Three B-25's, one P40, one P47, and one P51 circling over the Statue of Liberty twice. There will be two T6 aircraft accompanying and photographing the planes.

The NYPD says, "The aircraft will depart from/return to Republic Airport in Farmingdale, NY. You may see low flying aircraft in the area."
