Jamie Foxx, no stranger to live sketch comedy, hosted Saturday Night Live for the second time last night. Unlike with some recent guest hosts (ahem, Daniel Craig and Jeremy Renner), Foxx was a dominant presence throughout the night. There were a lot of dead-in-the-water sketches during the first half of the show, but things picked up very well in the second half, with hilarious, weird sketches including a game show in which nobody can tell Dylan McDermott from Dermot Mulroney, and a Maine courtroom show where everyone thinks they're in Louisiana.

Click through to check out those sketches as well as the cold open about Republicans beating up John Boehner, a Japanese version of Christmas, Tyler Perry's next Medea role, the power of Swarvoski crystals, a visit from Mrs. Claus on Weekend Update, and Ne-Yo performing two songs.
