After the Electric Zoo cancelled its final day on Sunday following two deaths, 31 arrests, and at least one sexual assault (of a 16-year-old), the remaining revelers didn't want to mourn, or remain silent in the face of tragedy, or think about the ramifications of doing drugs. They just wanted to keep the party going. And where better to roll on Molly and dance to shitty house music than Times Square?
One participant latched on to the Occupy movement's name to announce their Cause (raving for "those two kids who died"):
@tiesto we rave for those two kids who died at electric zoo we occupy Times Square pic.twitter.com/phC9LgV6hx

Another called it a protest against the city for shutting down Sunday's event:
Angry animals rioting in Times Square last night for the city shutting down electric zoo. Whyyyyy did I leave!? 😭
