Earlier this month the BEAT team, whose mission it is to create a platform for breakthrough contemporary performance art created in Brooklyn, set up a megaphone in five different locations around the borough. The podium and megaphones were at Prospect Park, Atlantic Center, Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Promenade, and the Brooklyn Flea.
