In the 1970s a reporter went around asking New Yorkers to, presumably in one word, sum up what they did not like about the city. There is nothing more enjoyable than coming home to the evening news to watch a bunch of strangers tell you about what sucks in this overpriced city your heart and soul have chained you to. A really uplifting piece!

In no particular order, here is what made it to air: the subway, the dirt, the mayor, the people, the broken trains, the taxes, the filth, the air, and "everything in general." And then disco happened.
