Earlier today Surprise Industries—which aims to bring little surprise experiences to New Yorkers—asked Facebook: "Can anyone tell us where there's a vending machine in NYC?" They are looking to bring this renegade vending machine project, spearheaded by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, to life. It's called The Mending Machine, and we will now keep quarters in our pockets at all times until we find a machine with heart-mending duct tape in it.
