Over the last couple years, Marvel and Netflix has successfully rolled out a quartet of superhero shows (well, except for Iron Fist, everyone hated that show) depicting the gritty fight to save the soul of Hell's Kitchen, Harlem, and other parts of Hell's Kitchen. And now, all those years of world-building will culminate in The Defenders, in which Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage unite to make fun of Iron Fist, a.k.a. "the kid with the glowing fist." They'll probably also save the city from some evil ninjas along the way.

All of their various sidekicks/supporting characters will be joining them for the jump as well, including Misty Knight, a rejuvenated Elektra, Colleen Wing, Stick, hallways (hallway fight scenes are very big in this universe), and of course, Rosario Dawson's ubiquitous Claire Temple, the glue that connects each one of the superheroes. Let's hope she isn't the sacrificial lamb to get them to learn to work together...you know, like Coulson in the first Avengers movie.

We also get our first glimpse at Sigourney Weaver's as-yet unidentified villain, who definitely knows her way around a striking outfit. Watch the first trailer, soundtracked by Nirvana's "Come As You Are," below.
