Sure the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a beloved NYC family tradition that appeals to people of all backgrounds. But did you know there's a lesser-known parade that celebrates everything that makes NYC unusual and outlandish as well? Seth Meyers got hold of the exclusive promo for the 69th annual P.C. Richard and Son Alternative Thanksgiving Day Parade, and you do not want to miss this one.

It is a who's who of our favorite weirdo NYC icons, including Bob (from Bob's Discount Mattress Store), Taxi TV icon Sandy Kenyon, Talk Stoop host Cat Greenleaf (in conversation with Jimmy McMillan), Roscoe the bedbug beagle, Billy Joel (eating pasta and waving), F train showtime dancers, a woman sobbing while reading Divergent, smoking delivery men, Dr. Zizmor (!!) performing a live skin graft, the Brooklyn Nets, and Mayor de Blasio in a cage fight with angry taxi drivers.

As if that isn't impressive enough, just watch the video closely, and try to guesstimate when the B-roll is from. Judging by the Virgin Megastore's appearance in Times Square, we'd put this at roughly 2002.

And if that doesn't get you jazzed for Thanksgiving, then, well, I don't know!
