Nothing can go right when 50 Cent visits Citi Field. Last month, 50 Cent threw out the single worst ceremonial first pitch in the long history of terrible ceremonial pitches (even the NYPD made fun of him). Last night, he (along with G Unit) performed a postgame concert after the Mets got beaten 5-0 by the Pirates—and apparently, 50 Cent's music brings out the aggression in Mets fans.
Now of course, we can't blame this all on 50 Cent—a lot of things enrage Mets fans, including (but not limited to) firefighters, ladies, Twitter, the Phillies, Chris Young, Mayor de Blasio, the constant debilitating frustration that comes with passionate sports fandom for a team whose organization is perpetually moronic, etc.
